Welcome
The Greenwich Peninsula Chaplaincy
The Chaplaincy provides for the religious, educational and social needs of the emerging community on the Greenwich Peninsula. It is for anyone on the Peninsula and the neighbouring area: businesses, residents, construction workers, visitors; indeed, anyone frequenting the Peninsula.
Our main tasks are to organise a team of chaplains visiting workplaces on and around the Peninsula, and to manage and staff the Prayer Space near to The O2.
The Chaplains on the Peninsula site are currently working at the O2, at Ravensbourne College, on construction sites, at ASDA, and in Greenwich's police stations.
The needs of the peninsula will change dramatically over the next 10 years and our style of chaplaincy will change with those needs.

Tenth anniversary
The first meeting of the Greenwich Peninsula Chaplaincy Steering Group took place on the 5th June 2003, so on the 5th June this year we shall be celebrating the Chaplaincy's tenth anniversary. The Mayor of the Royal Borough of Greenwich, Cllr Angela Cornforth, will be with us for the occasion. If you would like to attend the event then please email us to receive further details and an invitation.
The

Greenwich Peninsula
The
Prayer Space is
staffed by a team of welcomers who are available

The Prayer Space is available to individuals for prayer, conversation
with a welcomer, or just a bit of peace and quiet. The Prayer Space is
also used by the borough's faith communities for their own events.
The Prayer Space is normally open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. every
day
from Monday to Friday, and from 12 noon to 12.30 on Saturdays.
Please see the 'Prayer Space' tab on the left for more information.
